What is Real Forgiveness?
Real Forgiveness? What is Real Forgiveness? Isn’t forgiveness, forgiveness? Perhaps not. There are many methods of seeking forgiveness. The most common is what we call the water skiing method. This method is superficial, only skimming the surface of the issue; there is no confession or repentance. For example, “I’m sorry; please forgive me.” Then, there’s the sorry method: “I’m sorry,” which lacks confession, repentance and an actual request for forgiveness.
